What is different about the XTERRA races?

The 2011/12 FL XTERRA Trail Run Series is organized by TampaRaces.com. The XTERRA Series will comprise of 3 races. The XTERRA qualifying races are the longest distance of the each of the races. The XTERRA race might include some challenging sections that include a little more single/double track with the possibility of a little off-trail running. If you complete an XTERRA race, you can hold your head high.

 

XTERRA TRAIL RUNS

The XTERRA Trail Run Series features runs across the country ranging from 5K to 25km. The Series is grouped into geographic regions with TampaRaces.com organizing the 2011/12 Florida XTERRA Trail Run Series.

The top age group winners of the Florida series will be awarded free entry in the XTERRA Trail Running National Championship - an off-road half-marathon to be held in Ogden, UT in 2012. To find out more about XTERRA Trail Runs - go to XTERRA Trail Run.

Florida XTERRA Trail Run Series

The following 3 races will be participating in the 2011/12 FL XTERRA Series:

XTERRA Wildhorse Half-Marathon (2011)
XTERRA Trout Creek 15K Trail Run - Read the Recap
XTERRA The Claw 10 Mile Trail Run

There is no special registration required, just run each race and your series points will be calculated. The male and female overall winners for the series will each receive a pair of XTERRA shoes.
