The Florida
Challenge is a 13.1 mile and a 5K trail run on beginner and intermediate
single track trails. The location is the beautiful new Alafia River
State Park, which has some of the best trails in Florida. The trails are
technical and they make a great challenge. If you only do one trail run
in your life, this is the one you should do. With great T-shirts, fantastic
food, a DJ and a gorgeous and a challenging course - it is sure to leave
you with a smile on your face.
There will be a split start again this year. The Half-Marathon will start at 8:00 a.m., and the 5K will start at 8:30 a.m.
